A big part of where this idea came from was a business model Chelsey and Gabe originally came up with while sipping beers on the water in Tampa. We called the idea "Share this experience."

The concept was simple but meaningful: many people, especially when they are a bit older and already have what they need, want wedding registry gifts that are experiences, not physical things.

Our idea was a service that allowed people to build a registry that was a combination of trips and adventures. People would donate to what they wanted and could even leave comments with their experiences or recommendations—for example, a favorite café in Paris.

When the "experience" began, the couple (or person, if it was for a graduation or other milestone) could then provide blog updates as they went. This would let contributors see their gift in action and feel like they were along for the ride.

After our wedding, this blog is the manifestation of all these ideas.

It is our way of sharing our journey with you, letting you see the experiences you've helped shape, and keeping us all connected as we explore our new life in Ireland.
